If you’re looking for a trivia night in Arlington that’s actually competitive, we’ve got you. Join us every Monday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at McNamara’s Pub & Restaurant in Crystal City for an evening that rewards quick thinking, teamwork, and a little friendly rivalry.
Hosted by our Trivia and Game Master, Joe Barbee. The night is structured, fast-paced, and far from predictable.
Five Rounds of Real Competition
Each Monday features five themed rounds designed to test more than just random facts. Memory, pattern recognition, pop culture awareness, and obscure knowledge all make an appearance.
First and second place teams win prizes. The third place earns something just as valuable — the opportunity to choose a topic for one round the following week. It keeps things interesting. It keeps teams coming back. And it ensures no two Mondays feel the same. If you think you’re smarter than the average barfly, this is your chance to prove it.
What to Expect from Trivia Night
Trivia at McNamara’s strikes the right balance between competitive and welcoming.
You don’t need to be an expert in everything. You just need a team willing to think, debate, and occasionally argue over the final answer.
The room fills up quickly, especially with regular teams who’ve made this a weekly tradition. We strongly recommend arriving early for the best seating.
Reservations are recommended since space fills up fast. However, parties of 10 or more are REQUIRED to reserve a table.
Trivia night pairs naturally with dinner and drinks. Order a round of wings, share some starters, grab a properly poured Guinness, and settle in for the full two-hour competition. It’s one of the best ways to turn a Monday into something worth looking forward to.
